Welcome to Bright Horizons Diving!
We are a non profit organization. Our mission is to provide adaptive Scuba Diving programs to any qualified person with a disability. We start them as young as 10 years old, and go all the way up to 99 years old! Our goal is to give physically and mentally challenged individuals the opportunity to try Scuba Diving in a nice warm, heated pool under professional supervision.
Gary Wyant is the lead instructor for our organization. He has assisted individuals with a variety of disabilities, including physical and developmental disabilities, vision and hearing impairments, amputees, paraplegics and quadriplegics, as well as traumatic brain injuries and PTSD. Gary has assisted with the creation of the new PADI Adaptive Diving Specialty.
We want to assist those that need adaptive scuba to shed gravity by discovering the weightless wonder of the water. This near gravity free environment provides those who might otherwise struggle on land with an incredible freedom they've not felt before. Underwater we are equal!
We seek to educate and train participants to challenge themselves and imagine the possibilities in their lives. This helps to build their confidence and empowers them in their every day lives. Scuba Diving is life changing!
